Welcome to Community Bible Study Trussville AL, a ministry for women and children!  We welcome you to come see what happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible. 

CBS is a nondenominational Bible study ministry that focuses on making disciples of Jesus Christ in our communities through caring, in depth Bible study, available to all.

 

       

Community Bible Study 2025-26 will be another exciting year of studying God's Word together!

We desire to accomodate the comfortability of each participant by providing various meeting platforms,

including both in-person and dedicated online participant options. 

 

 Community Bible Study Trussville AL will be studying the book of PSALMS for the entirety of the 2025-26 study year.

 

The five core components of CBS for women and children include:

1.      Each participant will receive lesson books for individual home study on the weekly scripture passage

2.      Core groups will meet in-person or online to discuss lesson questions on the weekly scripture passage

3.      A live/recorded teaching for transformation on the weekly scripture passage

4.      A commentary from the lesson book on the weekly scripture passage

5.      Encouragement and prayer from your small group leader

 

Join us this September in the way you feel most comfortable--in-person or online! We look forward to diving deep into the Word of God with you!

MINISTRIES

Next Gen Ministry

Our Children's Program is available for babies through middle school students. A variety of activities such as Bible teaching/Prayer time, Scripture memory work, crafts, music, games and more are used to help children remember Biblical truths. Elementary and middle school students have their own age-appropriate Bible study covering the same book as the teens and adults, allowing families to study the Word together!  We seek to provide a nurturing environment where children can learn about Jesus' wonderful love for them and build a beautiful foundation of truth in their lives. We journey alongside and encourage parents as they teach and train their children to live out God’s truths in their lives. We welcome your children to experience the love of Jesus through the loving servants in our CBS Children's Ministry.

 

Young Adult

Ever wanted to be part of a community where relationships and studying the Bible are a central focus? Well then, come along to our dynamic Young Adult groups that meet at the same time as our other CBS classes. And no, you don’t have to have a PhD in theology or belong to a specific denomination.
